Town Application - Ashlar

Town Name
Ashlar

Theme
The theme is fairly loose at the moment but in general it’s a Mountain Village with an old world feel with hints of fantasy. It has a bit of a dwarven vibe, although it isn’t strictly enforced. As the name suggests, we may also throw in Masonic influences as well.

Current Structures
Homes for each resident
Town Hall
Road System
Public Foundry (workshop)
Public Library (enchanting)
Iron goods shop
Public Farm (wheat, potatoes, and carrots)
3 Beacons providing buffs to all of town

Planned Structures
Gold goods shop
Public Apothecary workshop (possibly automated)
Expanded Public Farms
Redstone training facility – the thought right now is a large factory or warehouse style building sort of buried in the mountain with examples of a large number of logic gates

I’d also like to eventually expand on the capital building and add in some sort of great structure but I don’t currently have any concrete plans


Highway Juncture
We have a spot marked along our road with three redstone torches on the eastern side of town. This isn’t set in stone, there are a few other locations in town if this doesn’t work well.


Warp Location
We have a spot picked out near the Foundry and Library. It is marked with a block of blue wool and facing some signs to direct people to some of the major structures in town.

And as the Mayor has forgotten there will be a bar in town. As we are Dwarven-esk we will need a Bar.

Good thing you mentioned that. Had you not had a bar, I'd have rejected your town application and banned the both of you.

...Just kidding. Great application though. I'll check everything out tonight when I get some time and in the meantime, figure out where you want your town borders to be.

We have now added the Bar "The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster" to give members of the town a place to unwind at the end of a day.
