Player Ranks and Commands

Players on Eagleworld are rewarded for good gameplay with rank incentives. If you are a good member of the server, help out others, and don't cause problems, you will find yourself gaining ranks over time and gaining more prestige and abilities!

Guest

This default rank is for new members of Eagleworld to walk around, see the sights, and converse with the other members of the server. Guests cannot build on any map, and must speak to a staff member first to gain rights.

Notable abilities:

See the sights!
Get to spawn using /spawn
Use /warp to move around the server and /warps to see the list of warps
Use /world to teleport between world (you need to specify numbers)
Use /mv list to see what worlds you have access to
Accept or deny teleportation requests with /tpaccept or /tpdeny
Send tells to players with /msg or /t
Use some location commands such as /compass and /mv coord

Initiate

This rank is given to players after speaking to a mod/admin and agreeing to follow the rules. You are allowed to build on Vitalia, the mining map, in order to gather resources and complete your initiation.

Notable abilities:

All Guest abilities
Building rights on Vitalia
Use /homeregion to obtain a mining area
Access to some essential commands, such as /kit, /home
Set one home using /sethome
Access to the starter kit (wood tools and torches)
Use /tptoggle to turn teleportation requests
Use LWC (Lightweight Chest Protection) to protect chests and doors (/lwc)

Apprentice

This rank is given to players after completing their initiation and user application. Apprentices are allowed to build on Aquilia (the building map), but cannot yet participate in mcMMO or towns. Apprentices need to be active on the server for a few days before getting promoted to Builder.

Notable abilities:

All Guest and Initiate Abilities
Building rights on Aquilia and Vitalia
Participate in the economy with /econ, and use global and player shops to buy/sell items
Set two homes with /sethome
Use the woodpick kit
Get item info using /itemdb
See item recipes with /recipe
Sign up for a Dynmap login using /dynmap webregister and chat to users from the map
Send and receive mail in-game with /mail
Use /realname to see a user's real name (if they have a nick)

Builder

This rank is given to players who have been in good standing as an Apprentice for roughly 4-7 days. Builders are considered full members of the server and are now completely vetted for playing on Eagleworld.

Notable abilities:

All abilities from the ranks listed above
Access to Infernia (the Nether) and participate in the PVP there
Access to Infernia on the Dynmap
Use the mcMMO and the majority of its abilities
Join towns and handle personal plots with WorldGuard
Use /back to teleport to your previous location
Use /exp to get your exact experience info
More kits: tools, stonepick, and torches
Set three homes with /sethome
Salary of 5 talons/hour when playing on the server

Architect

This rank is given to players who have been in good standing as an Builder for roughly 1-2 weeks. The Architect rank gives the user even more abilities, including the ability to teleport to other players, further participate in the economy, fight the Ender Dragon, and get access to more kits!

All abilities from the ranks listed above
Access to Finia (the End) and fight the Ender Dragon
Access to all worlds on the Dynmap
Create ChestShops and make stores on the server
Ability to teleport to players with /tpa and teleport players to them with /tpahere
More Essentials commands: /near, /getpos, and /delhome
More kits: food and bedtime
Set four homes with /sethome
Salary of 7.50 talons/hour when playing on the server

Artisan

This rank is given to players who have been in good standing as an Architect for roughly 1 month. The Artisan rank are for players who are considered fully trusted members of Eagleworld. As such, Artisans are given access to destructive items (such as TNT, lava, and flint and steel), and are allowed to bypass certain cheat protections to use mcMMO to the fullest.

Access to destructive items on the server
Access to all mcMMO abilities by bypassing certain anti-cheat checks
Can found towns as a mayor or act as a mayor's assistant
Does not lose exp after death
Can use /feed to stay full
Use /back after death to teleport to your previous position
More kits: ironpick, noms, and armor
Set five homes with /sethome
Salary of 10 talons/hour when playing on the server

Master

Unlike other ranks, the Master rank is not given out on a time frame. Users are only given Master rank if considered an exemplary member of the server by the Eagleworld Staff. This rank gives the user certain powerful abilities, such as the ability to teleport to players without asking and access to even more kits.

Use /tp and /tphere to teleport to or teleport players to them without asking
Use /top and /jump to perform special teleportation abilities
Learn more about a player using /whois
Extinguish him/herself with /ext
More kits: bukkit, bling, jewelry, and cookie
Set seven homes with /sethome
Salary of 12.50 talons/hour when playing on the server

VIP

The VIP rank is an extremely special rank given out to the most respected and valuable members of Eagleworld. This rank is even more exclusive than Master, and is only given out to players who have made significant contributions to the server. These members are given the gift of flight to allow them to build on the server easier and spread their contributions further.

Use /fly to fly as if they were in creative mode
Can join the server even if it is full
Access to the chainarmor kit
Use /speed to go faster when walking or flying
Use the cave maps on the Dynmap
Set ten homes with /sethome
Salary of 15 talons/hour when playing on the server

Veteran

The Veteran rank is a special rank reserved only for former staff members of Eagleworld. This rank is a thank-you to these members for their contributions to the server, which grants them some special commands not accessible to other members of the server.

Use /god to gain God Mode
Use special fun commands, such as /nick and /nuke
Use the teleportation override commands: /tpo and /tpohere
Bypass /speed restrictions to go maximum speed on the server
Use /dynmap hide and /dynmap show to hide/show themselves on the server map
Set fifteen homes with /sethome
Salary of 20 talons/hour when playing on the server

Moderator

This staff rank is only given to the most capable members of Eagleworld who are capable of and willing to spend their time running the server. In exchange for the work they perform on the server, they are given certain special perks to make up for the time they spend working on server issues. Mods are selected from the server's Masters and VIPs by the current Eagleworld Staff.

Monitor players using WorldGuard, NoCheatPlus, and AntiXRay plugins
Inspect player actions with CoreProtect (/co inspect)
Handle new player promotions up to Builder rank with /manpromote and /mandemote
Core moderation commands: /kick, /mute /ban, /tempban, /broadcast, /kill, /vanish, /jail, /jails, and /invsee
Bypass WorldGuard protections for administrative duties
Ability to monitor LWC protected chests, ChestShops, and Ender Chests with /enderchest
Fun commands such as colored chat, /kittycannon, /nuke, /burn, /fireball, and /spawner
Use ClearLagg (/lagg) to control server lag
Set fifteen homes with /sethome
Salary of 25 talons/hour when playing on the server

Administrator

This staff rank is the highest rank members can get on Eagleworld. Admins are given the keys to the castle, and are able to use almost every command on the server, with the exception of a select few. Admins are in full control of all plugins. Since admins spend a significant amount of time on the server handling server issues, they are given the ability to spawn items and use WorldEdit as compensation for their great responsibility.

Full control over all plugins, including Essentials, GroupManager, BOSEconomy, mcMMO, WorldGuard, LWC, CoreProtect, and others
Handle all aspects of user promotions and ranking
Use CoreProtect to roll back server edits
Define Towns for players using WorldGuard
Use WorldEdit for large-scale map editing
Handle WorldGuard regions to assist town mayors
Set fifteen homes with /sethome
Salary of 35 talons/hour when playing on the server

Root

Root is the reserved rank for EagleRock, the owner and head administrator of Eagleworld. Root does not have that much power above and beyond other Admins, but does have a few extra powers. Root is the final say in any matter...the buck stops here!

Notable abilities:

Blanket rights over all plugins
Console access to the server
Ability to override decisions by other staff if needed
Set fifteen homes with /sethome
Salary of 35 talons/hour when playing on the server
