Eagleworld is now on Tekkit.

Posted by EagleRock

It's about time, right?  The whitelist is off, the server is updated, time to par-tay!

I'm going to keep this post as short as possible, so we can all get to playing:

Here's the mods I went with:

  • Tekkit (ALL mods enabled!)
  • Essentials (for all the warps and stuff we're used to)
  • LWC (protect your chests)
  • CoreProtect (rollbacks and anti-griefing)
  • Dynmap (yes, we still have Dynmap! and this time, no chat spamming!)
  • EssentialsEco (not yet configured, but it's installed)
  • ChestShops (coming soon!)

Updates to the Rules/Policies

  • The rules are chopped down and simplified
  • The policies of the server are DRASTICALLY reduced and relaxed in the interest of fun
  • Server ranks still offer prestige and status, but now most features are available, even to Builders
  • There are no longer restriction on only building in towns, and TownyMod is no longer around.  We can do towns on our own without the plugin!

Changes to the Server Economy

  • iConomy is substituted for the more stable and updated EssentialsEco
  • Annoying commands are gone, in favor of ChestShops
  • The Global Shop no longer trades everything in favor of Equivalent Exchange
  • There will be a National Bank in Capitol City that trades metals, gems, etc.
  • Trading with the National Bank will only give you a slight penalty in value as opposed to before
  • Your Talons (basically your bank account) will now generate interest!
  • The economy plugins are NOT SET UP YET, but will be soon once the server is in full swing!

What you need to do to join:

  • Download and run the Technic Launcher at www.technicpack.net
  • Select "Tekkit" from the drop down, log in, and connect to the server at delorean.eagleworld.net
  • Get re-added by an admin (I will be on as much as I can, at least on the console)
  • Find a place to build (preferably away from spawn, as Capitol City will go there)
  • Use "/dynmap webregister" if you wish to be able to use the dynamic map
  • Have FUN!  There is a lot to do with Tekkit, so enjoy!

Latest Tekkit trial updates

Posted by EagleRock

Hey, everyone!

Just another quick update to keep everyone in the loop.  I've been working on the server the last few days, trying out the various mods and plugins that are part of the Tekkit mod.  So far, I really like what I see.  I think this adds so much to the game that it really can't be ignored at this point.  So far, reception has been extremely positive.  However, I still need people to help test! The map we're using right now is not going to be saved, so there is no harm in playing around with the mods and seeing what's good and what is not.  If you want to join and have not been whitelisted yet, all you have to do is ask me!  You can do it however you like (AIM, Twitter, Facebook, a blog comment, etc.).

Latest Decisions

So I've decided what plugins we were used to have been staying/going so far:

Installed Plugins

  • Tekkit Mod Bundle (includes IndustrialCraft, BuildCraft, ComputerCraft, RedPower, and more)
  • Esssentials (for warps, kits, protections, and all that fun stuff)
  • GroupManager (for permissions)
  • CoreProtect (for anti-griefing protection ala BigBrother or HawkEye)
  • LWC (for chest protection)

Plugins that will NOT be installed

  • TownyMod (no need for it anymore, really...if mobs become a huge issue I can use WorldGuard or just disable them entirely)
  • CreativeStick (new plugins and Creative Mode supercede its abilities)
  • MultiWorld (I'm sticking to one world for simplicity and lack of worry about updating)
  • WorldEdit (hell, with all this Tekkit crap, who needs it?)
  • iConomy (I am trying to avoid an economy this time, but Essentials has its own economy if needed)
  • BetterShop (Essentials provides chest shops if needed)
  • LocalShops (Essentials provides chest shops if needed)

Plugins I have not made judgement calls on yet:

  • Dynmap (I'd like to do this, but only if it's not too much of a pain in the ass...a Dynmap-free server is better than no server at all)
  • EssentialsEco (Essentials' Economy program - includes all we need for the economy, but I feel like the Tekkit mods provide what's needed for this...IndustrialCraft even has a recipe for coins!)

Things we need to test

The big thing I'm concerned about is the ability for the big four Tekkit plugins to work, now that I have GroupManager installed and locking down the server.  I do not know if I have configured it correctly to bypass the no-guest-build security.  Please test the following:

  • IndustrialCraft automining
  • ComputerCraft automining (especially the turtles)
  • BuildCraft's ability to move stuff around (especially with pipes)
  • RedPower

If there are problems, please let me know.  I may have to make these plugins have OP privileges to the server, which I would really like to avoid.  But, if necessary, I'll do it.

Anyway, keep up with the suggestion and comments...looking forward to what you have to offer to Eagleworld!

Eagleworld Redo Updates/Ideas

Posted by EagleRock

Hey, everyone!

LONG POST WARNING: Sorry,  folks.  Got a lot to say, and want to keep everyone in the loop.  If you just want to get started testing to get ideas going, you can skip the "New Server Ideas" section, really.  It's just my rough ideas for the future.

So I listened to the ideas I got so far, and I'm glad I did so...I was directed to look at Tekkit by Runninghobo and EG_SpaceNinja, and so far I'm completely blown away.  I had no idea about this mod conglomeration, and I think it's a great direction to go.  Is it any wonder why I love my mods and admins? (If you're the idiot looking for a "no homo" after that, grow up...lol)

Testing out Tekkit

So, I've set up a temporary Tekkit server so I try out mods and test out configurations.  The server is located at delorean.eagleworld.net:25566.  It runs on an older version of minecraft (1.2.3 I think), but it uses its own launcher chock-full of goodies (mini maps, the successor to Too Many Items, etc.).  If you wanted to run the latest version of vanilla Minecraft, it can run side-by-side with Tekkit with absolutely NO conflict.  This will allow people to test out their new stuff and not screw around with their server experience!

The test server is currently whitelisted, but if you wish to join and test, just ask!  You can ask me pretty much anywhere: a comment on the blog, Twitter, Facebook, e-mail, text message, any way you can get ahold of me.  If you were a former member of the server, and you're still reading this blog, that's pretty much all I need.  I will whitelist requests as I get them and let people play around.  To do so, however, you need the Technic Launcher, which you can get at http://www.technicpack.net/.  Just like Minecraft, it works on Windows, Mac, or Linux, and lets you play Minecraft in a whole new bunch of ways.  Just make sure to select "Tekkit" on the dropdown on the left before you put in your Minecraft credentials.

New Server Ideas

So, continuing on with all of the changes I'm making to Eagleworld, let's talk about the things I want to keep the same:

  • Hourly map backups for total rollback capabilities (my scripts still work fine).
  • Essentials Plugin for basic protections from creepers, and griefing
  • Some Big Brother/HawkEye - like plugin for admins/mods to use to protect against griefing
  • Some map plugin - maps are cool.
  • Some method to get all the items you want, whether it is by the economy or some other plugin

The good news is that Tekkit actually has built in ways to get all the stuff you want, but doesn't use an economy for it.  I'm debating putting the economy back in, but if I do, I might just end up using the built-in economy that Essentials provides (BOSEconomy), and using a chest-based shop, rather than a command-based one.

So what will be different?

  • Towny is most likely going away - I don't believe it's necessary anymore, save for in-town creature protections.  I'll try to find some other way to handle that that doesn't require such bloat.
  • Besides Tekkit, Essentials, and server protections, mods will be kept to a minimum to make upgrades easier.  That doesn't mean I don't want suggestions, though!  If I feel a plugin really will add to the server, I will most definitely add it.  But I am definitely going for server longevity here and ease of upgrade.

So what will the rules be like?

  • Server will still be admin-approval only.  I believe quality of users as opposed to quantity will help.  We will advertise, but requirements for joining will be high as always.
  • No-tolerance griefing will still be in effect.  Rather than have all these regulations and shit, one time fuck-up and you go.  Keeps everyone in line and nobody has to worry about their stuff.
  • Rules will be a lot simpler - I created a rule pretty much every time something bad happened, and it added up.  We'll make it simpler.
  • Ranks will still be around to give everyone a sense of accomplishment as they move forward on the server, but I will try to make it so everyone pretty much can do what they want, regardless of rank.  Thankfully, a lot of the stuff everyone want to do (like flying) can be done in Tekkit; it just requires some effort to do.  For example, you can fly now with Jet Packs...which is way more fun to me than using Creative Mode, anyway!
  • Other than that, the server will be pretty much free to do whatever, as long as it doesn't hurt someone else or isn't using common sense.  For example, building your shit next to someone else (unless they are okay with it) is being a dick, and not using common sense.  But rather than memorizing rules and all that, we'll take things case-by-case.

So what happens to towns?

  • Still build 'em if you want...or build by yourself.  Whatever.  No more rules and crap on that.  It made things very un-fun.
  • If you want to build a town, just space it away a little bit from other towns.  Leave room for expansion.  Common sense.
  • Just make sure you move away from Capitol a bit before you start.  I'm planning on building a lot there (for everyone on the server), so I'd like to have some space to grow.

Speaking of Capitol, I'm planning on letting everyone build something there...just let me have a say in what or where.  I want to plan on having districts again (so all the power plants and industry is in one place, all the high-rise towers in another, and the small homes in yet another, all with the spawn and government buildings in the center).  I want to have the first place everyone sees on the server to be large, organized, and impressive.

If I do it right this time, we will have a great spawn point, as less time will be spent screwing around with the server.  But, I want to make it fun and enjoyable for all...without excessive rules and all that.  I'm setting my goals lower in terms of player count.  I'd rather have 10 dedicated players that all fun to be around and enjoy themselves than try to get 50 players, half of whom rarely play and some of which can't be trusted.

More Ideas

I still want more ideas from you guys.  If you need to join the server and play around with Tekkit to get some, just ask!  Just remember the test server is in fact a test server...it will definitely go away.  Do with it what you want...but again, just be nice to others.  I'll keep everyone posted on how far I get with the build and all that.  Cheers!

It finally happened…Delorean went down.

Posted by EagleRock

So, it happened.  Eagleworld went down.  It was running for almost 700 days, but it fell victim to a power outage on July 31st.

Thankfully, not for long, though.  I was on vacation in South Carolina at the time, so I wasn't around to power the server back up.  The server shut down gracefully thanks to my UPS, and Delorean's data is 100% safe.

If you want more details on the server outage, check my main blog post here.

I don't want to start up the Minecraft server as yet, as I am still doing things with the OS to get everything copasetic (rebuilding disk arrays, performing stress tests, etc).  However, I really want to invest my time in working towards rebuilding my Minecraft server fresh.

Starting Over

So why did I stop working on the server so long?  Simple: it got too damn hard to do.  I had a lot of things going on in my life.  Between a divorce, medical issues, problems with my family, and a new girlfriend, time devoted to Minecraft was a minimum as it was.  And with Minecraft changing so much so quickly, and with the plugins Eagleworld uses falling into such disarray, it was damn near impossible to keep her running without investing way more time than I had, and honestly, way more time than I wanted to devote.

However, I do love Minecraft, and thanks to a lack of Internet connection when I was on vacation in South Carolina, I spent a good amount of time playing single-player Minecraft during my downtime.  Loved it, too.  It really reminded me of why I played Minecraft in the first place and motivated me to rebuild Eagleworld.

So, now what?

Well, if I'm going to start over, doing it completely seems the way to do it, and I really do mean completely.  The reason I stopped working on it in the first place was because my server's design was based on plugins back when Minecraft was still in Alpha Hey0's Mod was the server wrapper of choice.  If I'm going to rebuild it and be able to keep it going this time, I really have to change my plan up.

So, I'm going to restructure and rebuild a new Eagleworld based on the current release of Minecraft, with the current release of Minecraft in mind.  Change of rules, change of plugins, change of server focus...everything.  But if I'm going to do that, I need your help.

Suggestions

I want 'em, folks!  I want to know what it is that kept you coming to Eagleworld, and what it is you don't like.  I can tell you right now that I'm going to keep the goal of security and safety of all of your work.  I know that was what made Eagleworld work in the past, and I'm sure it will keep it going in the future.  I know the rules were extremely strict and they need to be changed and simplified, so I will want your help with that too.  I can tell you that getting divorced and starting my life over has sure has hell made me more laid back (and a hell of a lot happier, too), and I'm sure that'll be heavily reflected in how I run my server.  But I can't build a server community by myself.  That's where you come in.

So, I'd love to hear from you all!  I'll probably start up a basic vanilla server soon just to have a place to meet up and goof around, but I want to rebuild this thing properly, with all of your help.  And don't worry about all of your work...all the maps are safe and I'd like to do with them what everyone considers best, whether that is keeping it in-server, having another server completely, or just posting the map files, or whatever.  So let me know!  Thanks, everyone!

Okay, NOW it’s time for SNS Syndrome…

Posted by EagleRock

Yeah, I'll admit it...I can't wait for damn Bukkit to come out.  :-P  I do promise you all that I'm going to work as hard as I can to get this pushed out to production as soon as Bukkit is stable.  A lot of the plugins we need are current as of the latest stable Bukkit...so I'm hoping there will be a fast push for all of our new plugins.

As far as making final decisions on the towns, I will definitely approve some of them once the server goes live again, but I won't deny any town applications right away.  I wish to give everyone a fair chance and let some new blood come on the server to see if they are on-board with the ideas too (for those of you having trouble finding citizens).

So, keep patient, and I promise it'll pay off.  I am closely paying attention to www.bukkit.org, and will get you back to the old (and new) Eagleworld as soon as I can!

Oh yeah, one other little note: Delorean has hit a milestone!  The server has finally hit an uptime of over 1 year.  It's my first home server to do so, and it's still running just fine!

eaglerock@delorean:501:~$ uptime
 07:56:37 up 376 days, 16:05,  4 users,  load average: 0.10, 0.05, 0.01

Is it any wonder I love Linux?  :-)

About Damn Time

Posted by EagleRock

Hey, everyone!

Well, looks like we might actually kinda sorta maybe might have an actual update to this damn game...and maybe the universe can move on with life!

So, let me inform you quickly at what's going to happen with Eagleworld as Minecraft is officially released:

  • I have updated our test server to 1.0 in the interim
  • As soon as Bukkit releases a RB to Minecraft, I will start frantically updating the server as per our previous plans
  • When we migrate over, you will come back to the old server map, but we will have the new Eagleworld map at the ready
  • I will ensure that towns are approved as soon as we cut over so everyone can start building right away
  • I will start advertising the server on the Minecraft Forums once we are in full swing again to get new blood

I know this is long in waiting, so I will do what I can to expedite my part of this.  I've been itching to play again myself, so don't worry...I feel your pain as well.  Any questions, just ask away.  Note that the migration plans are the same, and the prior posts pretty much outline them.  I'm just a bit too tired to bother posting them here right now, but the plans aren't changing from before.

Important: Should we start anew?

Posted by EagleRock

Hey, everyone!

Okay, I've got some plans down the pipeline, especially with 1.8 coming out, and I want to get a consensus from the active players on what to do.  I implore ALL of you to read this and leave at least one comment to have your voice heard, as this is important to you and your creations on Eagleworld.

Eagleworld has been running for almost a year, and the game has changed drastically since we started on Minecraft Alpha.  The game has introduced many new items, and the map format has changed drastically.  Additionally, 1.8 is going to have a large change to the map structure, including a much higher ceiling.  So, suffice it to say a lot of the spawned area Eagleworld has is, well, outdated.

Also, in that year, the players have done a damn good job of pillaging the land for all the good stuff.  :-)  So, after a year, the map has many good creations, but has a lot of "exploited territory" laying in ruin as well.  As such, now might be a good time to start anew.

Start anew?  Does that mean I lose all my crap?

Not exactly.  I'd like to get a consensus from the players as to whether or not they are okay with this first.  Second, all your creations and hard work would not just disappear.  As most of you know, I don't settle for second-best with how I run this place, so it would be a lot better than just dumping everything and starting anew.

Here's what will stay the same:

  • All members would retain their ranks, and there would be no change to that system at all.
  • All players would retain their Talons, and the banking system would be the same.
  • I will create a new Global Shop and let players create new player shops as I did before.
  • Players will be allowed to bring all of their items over to the new map.

Here is what will change:

  • Once 1.8 comes out, Eagleworld will be updated as per the normal update procedure.
  • Once the server is on 1.8, I will create a new map called Eagleworld2 (note the server can support multiple maps).
  • The nether's map will be purged and be started fresh.
  • Townymod data will be purged completely and new towns will be allowed to form on the new map.
  • Players will start playing on the new map, forming towns again.
  • All players are allowed to use their resources from the old map on the new one, but are recommended to not destroy their old creations, as the old map will be kept around.
  • Not Guaranteed - With the help of WorldEdit, Admins will allow players to select one building/structure of their choice to be copied to the new world.  For example, in my case, I would "copy" my mansion and bring it over to the new world.
  • Once the transition is complete, the old Eagleworld map will be frozen and exist as a museum.  This way, we can start anew, but you can still show off all your hard work to other players.

Here's what will happen to the towns:

  • All the old Towny data will be removed.  All players and towns will start fresh.
  • I will lay claim to the new Capitol City and mark the land first (hey, my server guys :-))
  • I encourage ALL active players to have a town to join.  I would rather more structure than not inside towns.
  • The new towns can be based off of old ones, or completely new ones can be formed...it's all up to you.
  • In terms of claiming space, I will make sure towns have the ability to claim the land they need, as I am aware we had problems with this in the past.
  • I will accept applications for new towns, but those towns need to have a definitive citizen list, mayor, location, theme, etc.
  • Everyone can apply, but realize the more organized groups/mayors will have a better chance than less organized ones.
  • Once we get settled on the new map, I encourage more players to set up home base inside towns, not scattered in the wilderness.  Wilderness building is fine, of course, but I would rather see towns be more active than less active.

What I need from you people

I need to know what people think about this.  It is going to take a lot of work to do this, but I believe it will be worth it,  However, it'll only be worth it if everyone is on-board with the idea, and people will actually play on the server.  Note that once we transition to 1.8 and the map is reset, I will start promoting the server more aggressively to bring in new blood.  So, I ask every player on the server to make a comment to this post! Your opinion is very important, so please make sure your voice is heard.

Please note the following in your comment:

  • Are you for or against this move for Eagleworld?  Please explain why/why not.
  • How important is the ability to copy a structure from the old world to the new one to you?
  • Would this move make you play more or less on Eagleworld?
  • Do you like or dislike that players will retain their items/Talons?
  • Do you like how the Towny system will be handled?
  • Finally, any additional comments/suggestions are welcome.

Like I said before, I am NOT doing anything without first getting a voice from the players, so don't worry about the changes just yet.  They will not take place until the server is on 1.8 anyway, so we have time to deliberate.  I want to get a feeling from the players first, and from there I can get a more definitive plan.

On that note, I welcome your comments/suggestions!  Please make sure to respond, as it is highly important I hear from everyone!  Thanks!

Hurricane Irene Update

Posted by EagleRock

Update 1 (8/28/11, 4PM EST) - Just a quick update: Obviously, power is still on.  The eye of the (now) Tropical Storm Irene is north of us, but we are still in the windy Southern half of the storm.  This part of the storm has only lighter winds and no rain.  Therefore, I do not believe we will lose power at this point.  However, since the river near me is continuing to rise and won't crest until tomorrow, we aren't 100% out of the woods.  So, Delorean stays alive for now, but I'll keep giving you updates regarding the server status.

Hi, Everyone!

Just a brief heads-up regarding the status of Delorean and the upcoming hurricane that will be hitting the Tri-State Area.  Hurricane Irene is expected to hit New Jersey between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.  While I do not live in a flood-prone area and do not expect any form of major damage to occur to my home (or the server hardware within), loss of power is definitely expected due to the storm.  Therefore, it is possible that Delorean will be down for a period of time during and after the storm until power is reliably returned to the area.

Note that this will NOT affect the safety of the server data at all, but will most likely affect server uptime.  If the power does in fact go out in my house, my server's backup battery has enough juice to keep it alive for about 25 minutes.  When the battery has about 5 minutes of power left, it will initiate a graceful shutdown of the server.  Therefore, the server will shut down gracefully and safely even if the power goes out abruptly.  If this occurs, I will be unplugging the power supplies for all server hardware, keeping them safe from power surges and the like, and will not restore power until I am convinced it is safe to do so.

Please note that if the power DOES go out, it could be for several days.  As far as knowing whether or not Delorean is back up and running and if the server is alive, the best way to check is to visit this blog.  If the blog is up, the Minecraft server will quickly follow.

Please feel free to ask any questions in this thread pertaining to the potential downtime.  Cheers!

Promotions, Global Shop, and Downtime

Posted by EagleRock

Hey, everyone!

Just another blog post to handle three minor things on the server.  I'll deal with these in order or ease:

Downtime earlier today

I apologize for the server downtime.  The server crapped out on me because the console hung up.  While the server itself was running fine with the console hung, it caused the reboot to not happen properly.  So, after the reboot, the server went down completely.

Anyway, I don't suspect it to happen again, especially after I update Craftbukkit to the latest recommended build.  The Bukkit team has a new build ready, I just have to test it before deployment.

Global Shop Update

Well, I finally got around to it...the Global Shop has been updated to add three new items: Red Mushrooms, Brown Mushrooms, and Slime Balls.  Prices can be found on the Global Shop page as usual.

Promotions

And, finally, the fun stuff:  Promotions!

Unlike last promotion, which was all about the builders, this one's all about the higher-ups:

Builder to Architect:

  • justynsm

Architect to Artisan:

  • jbkarate9
  • xchrisbeftwx
  • Thunder__Child
  • ljdarten

Artisan to VIP:

  • Archer665
  • WARRIORSPARTON

VIP to Moderator:

  • SanctusTerra

And, that's all she wrote, folks!  Again, as usual, there are few active members that are not getting promoted.  If you are active and not promoted, you just need a bit more time, that's all.

1.7 Update, Promotions, Salaries, and Playing Admin

Posted by EagleRock

Hey everyone!

Here's a quadruple-whammy post for y'all tonight.  I have four major things to cover, but I'll try to keep it as succinct as possible:

1.7 Update News

Just so you are in the loop, yes, Craftbukkit does have a recommended build for Minecraft 1.7.2, and I can update at this point.  However, there are major bugs in the server app itself (not Bukkit) that cause dupe bugs and piston bugs.  The Bukkit team is strongly recommending not to update until this is fixed, and I tend to agree.  Here is the Bukkit team's blog post regarding the matter: link here.

So, the long story short is hold tight until this is resolved.  The good news is I can temporarily start working towards updating the server to get a head-start once the update is finished.

Independence Day Promotions

Well, I promised more promotions, so here they come!  This batch involves the newest string of members and an embellishment of the server staff:

Builder to Architect:

  • Banana_Blob
  • adamant454
  • MegaUltraBuilder
  • pillsbaryjoeboy

Artisan to VIP

  • Nonagrrl

VIP to Moderator

  • Nephylim
  • Melany23

Moderator to Administrator

  • Openminded

I chose to promote Nephy and Melany to mods because they are both dependable and trustworthy members of the server, and they have experience modding Minecraft servers in the past.  Also, the times they are online will fill the gaps of when mods/admins are actually online to ensure greater coverage of the server at all times.

I chose Openminded as the latest admin because Nick (Runninghobo) has been quite busy lately and he hasn't been able to back up me as much as he was in the past.  Therefore, the need for additional admins is in order.  Open has consistently proven to provide great assistance to helping me deal with the server, not just in building things (such as the subway system), but also in dealing with new members.  He's proven as a mod that he will be able to serve as a quality admin on this server.

So, I hope you all congratulate the new promotions and welcome the new server staff!  And if you were expecting a promotion, don't get upset.  There are three major reason that people don't get promoted at any given time on this server:

  1. Hasn't been on the server long enough to demonstrate the worthiness of a promotion
  2. Has demonstrated trustworthiness, but has been inactive on the server
  3. Has given me a reason to question whether or not to promote them.

The majority of the lack of promotions in the list are due to 1 and 2.  Honestly, I have 10-12 people I'd be willing to promote right now, but they either don't play anymore or have played very sporadically.  So, don't fret if you don't see your name on the list today.

July Salaries

Well, it's that time of the month again!  July salaries are ready to be given out, so make sure to claim them!  And, since the server is not on 1.7 yet, I'll be giving out another "SNS-Free Bonus" this month for those of you that were willing to either not update or willing to back-up their 1.6 install: If you claim your salary before I update the server, you will get a 500 Talon bonus!  So, make sure to claim them soon!

Quick update on Playing Admin

I've received a LOT of questions regarding Runninghobo's post on Playing Admin on the server.  While I posted a response to his post in the comments and clarified some stuff, I still see people unclear about this.  For example, someone was concerned because they saw a moderator asking questions and accused them of playing admin.  Note that while mods cannot actually promote members, they can do all the preliminary questioning and prep them for membership.

So, to the members, if you see a mod asking questions, it's okay.  And if you are a moderator, and want to know what you need to do to question a member, please ask me!

I'll be redoing the Server Info and Help Pages soon, so I'll make sure to add all this info in to clarify it for good.

And in closing...

It's a lot of crap to read, I know, but there's a lot going on in Eagleworld right now.  Any questions about the post (I'm sure there will be a lot), please comment below and ask away!  I will be sure to answer them as best as I can!
